Joey Barton contract talks back on track as midfielder plans Newcastle extension
Joey Barton has invited Newcastle to resume talks over his future after Alan Pardew declared his intent to keep the midfielder at St James' Park.[LNB]Barton, 28, has been outstanding this season yet is attracting interest from Aston Villa, West Ham, Everton and Hamburg as he has just one year remaining on his contract.
