Devastated to see him SOLD! #mejoseandjonasnext [Me, Jose (Enrique) and Jonas (Gutierrez) next]'.[LNB]Barton himself has been the subject of much speculation already this summer after his agent, Willie McKay, revealed this week that his client would not be offered a new deal at Newcastle.[LNB]The Liverpudlian claims he wants to stay at the club, but a number of offers, including one from Everton, are expected. [LNB]He recently reacted to speculation that he would leave by saying: 'Finished playing golf, 72 not bad. Came in to questions about joining Everton??? I don't want to leave Newcastlebut thanks anyways........' [LNB]Barton wrote. 'I cant sign a contract if am not offered one?'[LNB]He then continued on the topic, appearing to mock the club's transfer policy before stopping himself.[LNB]'I will tell all when the time is right, basically they want a younger, better, cheaper player............cant blame (owner Mike Ashley) and (managing director Derek Llambias) can you?' he said.[LNB]'.......slight problem is, they dont want to spend any money or pay any wages. Its genius really ha ha.[LNB]'I am an employee so have to be careful here.
