Kinnear expects doctors to give him permission to go home on Sunday following over a fortnight in hospital and he is already planning to roar on his players when Newcastle face Everton in the Premier League this weekend.[LNB]The 62-year-old former Wimbledon manager was taken into hospital in the Midlands after feeling unwell ahead of Newcastle 3-2 defeat of West Bromwich Albion and underwent surgery last Friday.[LNB]Kinnear, who had a heart attack when he was managing Wimbledon ten years ago, stands to pick up a reported £1 million bonus from Newcastle owner Mike Ashley should the club avoid relegation this season.[LNB]"I'd really like to thank everyone for all their best wishes while I've been in hospital," said Kinnear whose coach, Chris Hughton, is now running first-team affairs on a caretaker basis.[LNB]"I had the operation last Friday and since then it's just been a case of taking it easy. The doctors have told me everything has gone well, I feel OK and hope to be able to go home on Sunday.[LNB]"I'll be ringing Chris [Hughton] to say 'good luck' to him and the boys for Sunday's game." Kinnear added: "I'll be glued to the television cheering them on and hopefully the lads can build on the win they had against West Bromwich Albion and pick up another three points.[LNB]"I know the fans will be right behind the team again on Sunday. I said from day one when I took over that they are the 12th man for us and they have a big role to play for us again as always at the weekend.[LNB]"I've been really touched by all the messages I've had from people over the last two weeks. I'd like to thank everyone for that and I hope to see you all again soon." [LNB]
