It's Brazilian Nuts To Debuchy And Cabaye

Newcastle duo Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye took a beating while on international duty for France.

Brazil easily saw off France in their last friendly before the Confederations Cup.  Oscar, Hernanes and Lucas scored the goals in the second half.

Despite the wide advantage it was not an altogether convincing by the Selecao, but they nevertheless had the satisfaction of a first win over Les Bleus in 21 years.

Brazil were close from opening the scoring in the first minutes of the match but new Barcelona signing Neymar took too long to pull the trigger and the chance went away.

With the tempo slow, Brazil dominated for the remainder of the half but failed to carve out clear chances.

In the second half the hosts showed a completely different attitude, pressing the French high up.

And it was good Brazil pressure that led to the opening goal as Luis Gustavo stole the ball and fed Fred, who played in Oscar to fire home.

Julio Cesar preserved Brazil's lead with a great save from team-mate David Luiz, who was relieved not to concede the own goal.

With the French team tiring Hernanes made it 2-0 in the 83rd, the Lazio man enjoying a better night against the French than he managed in the 1-0 defeat in Paris in 2011, when he was sent off.

As the match ticked over into injury time, Marcelo was fouled in the box and Lucas, from the spot, made it 3-0.

Hosts Brazil begin their Confederations Cup quest against Japan next Saturday.
