It Could Be Double Dutch For Newcastle!

Newcastle United's scouts have been checking out another Dutch goalkeeper.

Tim Krul is the undisputed number one at Newcastle, but his recent injuries have showcased the need for a reliable number two.

Steve Harper is 37-year-old, and this must be his last season at the club, as the last couple of defeats have shown he is not the spring chicken he once was.

Jeroen Zoet is the man Alan Pardew is after.

The 21-year-old plays for PSV; but he is currently on loan at fellow Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk for a second successive season.

He is currently the first choice goalkeeper for Holland's under-21 side, and is under contract with PSV until 2014.

He has an impressive record facing penalty takers ... he has saved five pens in his short career to date, including one from former Barcelona starler Bojan Krkic in an under-19 international.

Zoet was called into the Dutch international squad as cover for Tim Krul in September when the Toon keeper was injured.
