Is Beckham's Kid Named After Steve?
Big congratulations to David and Victoria Beckham, who yesterday welcomed their first baby daughter into the world. The healthy little girl was born at 7.55am at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. And as is now traditional, the Beckhams have given their daughter a slightly unusual name. Ready? She's called Harper Seven. Why Harper? A tribute to our goalkeeper perhaps? And Seven? It was David's shirt number at Manchester United, of course. All we could get out of Steve today was: "Harper for a girl's name? Are you pulling the piss?"
