'Disrespectful': Bruce has hit out at rumours he will be taking over at Newcastle[LNB] Steve Bruce has played down rumours linking him with a move to Newcastle[LNB],branding the reports 'disrespectful'. [LNB]Reports had suggested Newcastle were lining up the Wigan[LNB]chief as their new boss, with current manager Joe Kinnear recovering from a heart bypass operation. [LNB]Bruce has stated in the past that it would be a dream to take the reins of the club he supported as a boy. [LNB]However, Bruce feels the speculation is out of order and has pledged his future to Wigan. [LNB]'Because I'm a Geordie every time the managerial situation at Newcastle is mentioned I'm always in there,' he is quoted as saying in the Northern Echo. [LNB]'I think it's a little bit disrespectful when their manager is going through what he is going through right now. [LNB]'I'm very, very happy here at Wigan and I have got a terrific job. There's nothing in it, I'm very happy here, that's all I can say.'[LNB] Newcastle striker Owen hit by Stanford scandal[LNB]Arteta for England?
