Hughton To Raid Toon?
Toon flop James Perch will seek talks with Alan Pardew on his return to Tyneside on July 4 after telling friends: "I want to know where I stand." And according to the Chronicle, Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton could take him to St Andrews. The full-back failed to impress in the Premiership last season, looking well off the pace, but perhaps the ex-United manager feels he can get the best out of him. After all ... he bought him! Hughton woke up to headlines this morning linking him with a move for Toon midfielder Danny Guthrie.
