Hughton Says He Has No Dosh To Spend!

Chris Hughton will NOT enter the transfer market again in January. The loss of Hatem Ben Arfa is obviously a big blow to the Newcastle boss, but the winger has hardly played enough games to be "missed", and have the system disrupted. He is new on the scene, an amazing talent, and Hughton will simply have to get by without him. But the squad is strong, there are already players on the outside looking in, and Hughton has players knocking on his door asking why they aren't in the first team. Wayne Routledge, Jonas Gutierrez  and Danny Guthrie offer the boss options, and they are three class players. But the main reason why there won't be any players drafted in during January - THERE'S NO MONEY AVAILABLE! Chris Hughton: "I'm disappointed to have lost a player of Hatem's quality - but we will not over-react to one injury in what is a very strong squad. "We won't be adding to the squad in January. I feel we have a lot of strength in depth with the players we have already and there's no need to add to it. "We completed our squad before the last transfer window and I'm extremely pleased with the players we brought in. "[Owner] Mike Ashley and the board were financially very supportive and together, we did some very good business in the summer."
