Newcastle manager Chris Hughton has issued a hands off warning to clubs showing an interest in 18-year-old striker Nile Ranger.[LNB]Reports this week suggested Manchester City manager Mark Hughes had Ranger watched during last Saturday's home 2-1 win over Doncaster, where the teenager emerged from the substitute's bench to turn in a game-changing performance.[LNB]Hughton told the Shields Gazette: "There'll always be speculation in football, but we've not had an official bid for Nile from anybody, and his future's here with us.[LNB]"He's still a young lad who only last year was playing in the reserves. He did very well at that level.[LNB]"He's in the first-team squad on merit and he deserves to be here. He'll get opportunities this season, but he's really one for the future."[LNB]Ranger is contracted to Newcastle to 2012 and as a result Hughton is not concerned about any gathering speculation.
