Hughton Has No Relegation Fears

Former Toon manager Chris Hughton feels Norwich have "turned the corner" as he looks to slowly guide his team towards Premier League safety.

Hughton's side had been on a remarkable 11-game unbeaten run before their recent slump.

Norwich have a six-point cushion over the relegation zone

Chris Hughton: "In terms of results we have turned a corner.

"We have had some wonderful highs this season and we have had some lows as well, but that would be expected of a club where we are.

"We just have to make sure we keep accumulating points and while we would like the wins there is only one objective and that is to make sure we are in the Premier League next season.

"For clubs like us, you can't perform at that level all of the time and you just hope that when you're not at your best you can still pick up results.

"A few weeks ago we were not doing that when we were not at our best.

"At this moment, we are still not at our best, but we are not losing.

"You hope the other results go for us and they haven't been too bad, but we have to do it ourselves and we now have two weeks to work and be refreshed for Everton at home."
