Hughton eyeing Premier League return

Chris Hughton insists promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking remains his priority after being confirmed as permanent manager at Newcastle.[LNB]Hughton has been given a contract until the end of the 2010/11 season having helped the Magpies to the top of the Championship during his caretaker role.[LNB]He told the club`s official website: "It`s a very, very proud day for me. It is very much an honour and a privilege to be manager of this great football club.[LNB]"It has a tremendous tradition and I am delighted to follow in a great line of managers.[LNB]"On a personal level, I am thrilled to have this opportunity because I have grown to love this football club since I arrived nearly two years ago.[LNB]"But it is not about personal ambitions, the number one aim for everyone is to get this football club back into the Premier League this season."
