Hughton Doesn't Want Someone Who Can Step Into His Shoes
Colin Calderwood left Newcastle for the managerial job at Hibs five weeks ago, but Chris Hughton is yet to replace him. It's a difficult business, because the Toon boss wants someone with experience ... but not TOO much experience. There are plenty of willing candidates, but he doesn't want a big name to come in and take over the dressing room. Chris Hughton: “It’s been coming up to five weeks now but no, there has been no new progress in that this week. "I am still looking, and I'm sure the right man will be in place soon. "But it has to be the right man, I want to think this through."
