Hughton Dismisses Interest - When Bids Were Made!
Someone - somewhere - is telling 'porky pies'. The media report two bids for players (confirmed by the clubs) but Chris Hughton says they did not happen. Hughton dismissed reports linking him with a move for Romania striker Andrei Cristea – and also says there is nothing in claims United have made a bid for Sporting Lisbon forward Yannick Djalo. Hughton: “Those names are not even close.” Hmmmm ... interesting.
