Hughton Contract - One Year Rolling Could Be The Answer
Bob Moncur says he could have the answer to Chris Hughton's contract ... that could keep him (and Mike Ashley) happy. Bob Moncur: “It can’t have been easy for Chris in the build-up to the Sunderland game. “There were a lot of rumours flying around last week and that could hardly have helped him. "But what he has done is bring the dressing room together and everybody is playing for him and the black-and-white shirt. “That’s all the fans have ever asked for at Newcastle. “Surely he will get his contract sorted from this point onwards? “I think if you asked the Newcastle fans they would like to see it sorted. “Perhaps, a one-year rolling contract would be the way forward. I just hope that it no longer becomes an issue."
