Newcastle striker Andy Carroll is keeping his feet firmly on the ground amid speculation that he could receive a senior England call-up next week. The 21-year-old has found himself the subject of reports that he could be drafted in by Fabio Capello for next month's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro with Emile Heskey having retired from international football, Wayne Rooney a doubt and Jermain Defoe and Bobby Zamora already ruled out through injury. However, Carroll, who will hope to add to his four goals for the season at Manchester City on Sunday, said: "All I am focusing on is Manchester City and doing well for Newcastle United. "It's a big game for us and one in which we are trying to bounce back from Stoke with a good result. "We have got a good group here and we will be looking for our team-work to pay off on Sunday."
