It's a wine number with a black flash across the shoulder, but wine is a little too RED for some of the Toon Army.
There was a similar colour used back in 1996 when old shirts of the past were replicated - pictured right - but it didn't hit sales then, and the club hope sales will go well this time.
Club colours are certainly a topic of conversation amongst fans nationwide ... with Man City wearing red; and Man Utd wearing blue.
They argue United's blue is NOT sky blue, which some claim to be "unforgivable", and wine is certainly NOT Mackem red.
