Holloway Should Face Facts ... He Wasn't Good Enough!
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway aimed a parting shot at the Premier League after claiming his club were unfairly handicapped in their battle for survival. The Tangerines were consigned to a swift return to the Championship after losing a 2-1 lead to eventually fall to a 4-2 defeat at title winners Manchester United. At the end of the day ... Blackpool were not good enough! They played 38 games, like Newcastle, the Mackems and every other team in the league. You finish in the bottom three - you get relegated!
