Hodgson After Carroll - NOT Routledge!

27 September 2010 12:02
According to yesterday's Sunday supplements - always a minefield of junk - under-fire Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is considering a January move for Newcastle United winger Wayne Routledge. No quotes - no basis of fact - just a story to fill a few inches of column space in the newspaper. But, should Hodgson come knocking on the door at St James’ Park ... cap in hand ... trying to coax a Toon player to Anfield ... put yer dosh on Andy Carroll. He tried three times to get him to Craven Cottage when he was Fulham boss.
