Have Carroll And Taylor 'Kissed And Made Up'?

Chris Hughton was quick to point out last week that the bond between his players, that he claims was the reason why we stormed the Championship last season, is a healthy situation and NOT 'Player Power' Steven Taylor has just played a bit-part in the Newcastle team since Andy Carroll knocked seven bells out of him on the training ground and broke his jaw, but that is because he has suffered a number of niggling injuries. However, Taylor's agent has made it known his client and NUFC are still not on the same wavelength as regards a new contract, and Taylor could be on the move. Many fans suggest Taylor is looking for a move, despite quotes from the player saying the opposite. So that beggers the question - HAVE CARROLL AND TAYLOR MADE UP? We hear rumours of 'Player Power' at the club, players forming their own meetings and shutting the door on Chris Hughton (after the games against Orient and Derby County last season. But it seems to go on at other clubs too. Look at Liverpool. Javier Mascherano suffered a backlash from his own teammates after he pulled out of the Liverpool team to play Manchester City on Monday, according to reports. Mascherano was described as not being 'in the right frame of mind' to face City, and was therefore left out of Roy Hodgson's starting line-up. However, according to both The Daily Mirror and The Sun, Mascherano's withdrawal wrecked Roy Hodgson's carefully planned tactics. Hodgson reportedly worked on a 4-2-3-1 formation with Mascherano and Lucas Leiva anchoring the midfield, in order to combat City's strength in the middle of the pitch. A 'club source' told The Sun: "The senior players at the club were seriously hacked off with Mascherano on Monday night and that was clear when he arrived back on Tuesday. "There are players in that squad who are Liverpool through and through and they were fuming at what Mascherano did."
