Hat-Trick Hero Not Worried About New Signings
Demba Ba proved the most high-profile striker Newcastle signed during a transfer window, but Alan Pardew said he was not the man to fill the iconic No.9 shirt. Leon Best was another who felt he was in with a chance of that number, but Pardew is still looking for his "special striker". Demba Ba: “It would not have mattered if they had brought a new striker in because it would have been good for the team. “The manager is thinking about the team and the players have to think about it too. "They can bring as many strikers in as they want as far as I am concerned. It would not bother me at all. “Whatever happens I will just keep working and trying to show what I can do.”
