'Hatred' Is A Big Word - But That's The Toon-Wear Derby For You!

Alan Pardew reckons he's experience derby games before - like Southampton v Portsmoth. But here is a warning for him before Sunday's fixture: WELCOME TO HELL! Alan Pardew: “You should go and see the fans at the clubs I've been at if you think I haven't really been involved in derby games. They all have derbies. “I've had play-off finals and cup finals at West Ham, and that's probably where I relate this game to. "That's what it's going to feel like, I understand that. "There'll be that certain feel you get when you walk in a stadium and there's an electricity all around you. "The expectation of it all. “Spurs v West Ham and Southampton v Portsmouth is probably the closest I can think of from the clubs I've been at, but it's not going to be in the same category in terms of feeling, I'm sure of that. “It would be a massive win for us if we could pull it off. You have to make them favourites with two big players like Andy and Cheik out of our side. "They have to start as favourites, so it would be a massive win if we could achieve it.”
