Joe Kinnear may have demonstrated his, let's say, less responsible side when he claimed Martin Atkinson was a 'Mickey Mouse' referee last November, but if he used the same description of the FA today he would be spot on.
The governing body fined the Newcastle manager just£500 and warned him about his future conduct for the outburst which has set the tone for touchline behaviour - and for that it is hard to take them seriously.

So where does a£500 fine fit in? Even though Kinnear had been out of the game for a while before going to St James' Park that level of penalty will have no impact whatsoever.
It wouldn't even be enough to deprive him of the price of a trip to the original Disneyland.
