HATCHET MAN: Beware Briatore, Dennis is clearly Wise when it comes to money
Whatever Newcastle fans think of him, Dennis Wise is clearly nobody's fool when it comes to money.
After picking up a £1.5 million payoff from St James' Park, the former Millwall, Swindon and Leeds manager is in the frame for the QPR vacancy.
Now Flavio Briatore and his board may not know what sort of boss they want - young, English, foreign and experienced have all walked through their revolving door - but they don't seem to be afraid of potentially costly contract terminations.
Wise is actually a decent enough managerto improve the mediocrity at QPR but he won't be afraid of standing upto the chairman.
So if he gets the job another big pay day will undoubtedly follow soon after.
