Harry Redknapp fires warning to Tom Huddlestone over midfield place

Tottenham face Newcastle in the push for Europe on Sunday and with players returning from injury, Redknapp could face team selection problems. [LNB]Earlier in the week Tom Huddlestone admitted that he would have to consider his position if he did not break into the first team but Redknapp, while pleased that the player appeared determined to fight for his place, warned that he would not be turned by any individual. [LNB]"I have brought players in and the competition becomes fiercer, and Tom is a good player, a terrific player. He could be a top, top player and he was excellent last week but I brought Palacios in and he has done well for me. [LNB]"It's competition for places. That's how it is for everybody. Alan Hutton is fit but Corluka is playing well for me. Chimbonda is looking to get into the team. It's competition."[LNB]Huddlestone played against West Ham in place of the suspended Wilson Palacios. He returns, but an injury to Jermaine Jenas means Huddlestone could continue in Spurs' midfield as they look to maintain their impressive home record. [LNB]Redknapp faces the club he turned down last year in an attempt to claim an impressive record. So far Spurs have conceded just nine League goals, in 16 home games, and are set to break their Premier League low of 16. [LNB]And with three games left, they could eclipse the all-time record of 11, set in the 1919-20 season. [LNB]"When you think of the start we got off to, it's been brilliant," said Redknapp. [LNB]
