Harper Wants Revenge Against Forest
Steve Harper talks about the match at the City Ground that saw Newcastle robbed of a point. But it is pay-back time on Monday. Steve Harper: “Billy Davies will have them fired up, no question about that. “The club has great history and their fans are desperate to return to the top flight. “To be in the top three when it’s such a young team is an achievement in itself, and we’ll have to be on our mettle against them. “We want revenge because we lost 1-0 at their place, one of only four defeats we’ve suffered all season. “Forest battered us first-half and scored just before the break, but we pounded them after half-time. “Kevin Nolan scored what we thought was a good goal but was given offside. “We’ll be up for the challenge and we know we’ll have a big crowd of Geordies solidly behind us. That makes a massive difference.”
