Harper Lays Down The Law
Steve Harper made an apperance on Sky TV last night, saying he has had words with the other two Newcastle goalkeepers. Steve Harper: "I told Tim Krul and Fraser Forster in pre-season that I would help them in any way, just as Shay Given helped me. "I was sad to see Shay go because he was my friend, but 95% of me was delighted because I had finally become No 1 at Newcastle. "And I want to stay No 1. "I told the two of them that I was always here for advice, but I wasn't going to give up the shirt easily."
