Hammers linked with Floccari

Atalanta have confirmed striker Sergio Floccari could be sold in the summer, with West Ham United credited with an interest in the player.[LNB] Floccari has impressed since signing for Atalanta from Messina in 2007 and has netted 12 goals in 27 games in Serie A this season.[LNB]A report in Friday's press suggests the Hammers are keen on the Italian, while Newcastle, Juventus, Roma, Villarreal, Wolfsburg and Zenit St Petersburg are all also mentioned.[LNB]Atalanta sporting director Carlo Osti said in the Daily Mirror: "Sergio has now reached his full potential as a footballer in this league. [LNB]"We have an agreement with the player and his agent that he will be sold at the end of the season if someone is interested."[LNB]West Ham have yet to confirm or deny the rumours suggesting they are keen on 27-year-old Floccari.[LNB]
