Griffin On The Move Again
Reading have completed the signing of former Newcastle United defender Andy Griffin from Stoke for a nominal fee. The 31-year-old right-back spent the second half of last season on loan at the Madejski Stadium and has now penned a two-year contract. 1997/2005 A.Griffin 90/13 3Signed from Stoke City and tipped to be a future England international. Full-back who suffered from injury and didn't progress at all in the early part of his Toon career. Had his worst ever day at Highbury during a 5-0 thrashing by Arsenal when Thierry Henry took him to the cleaners. Joined Portsmouth in 2004. Born in Billinge.
