Gordon To Sign For Celtic If Forster Pulls Out!

There has been rumour today that Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon could be heading to Celtic if Toon keeper Fraser Forster goes to West Ham.

Craig Gordon said today he will take his time to decide his next career move after being approached by several clubs, and some believe Celtic boss Neil Lennon has him on his radar.

With Robbie Green allegedly set to move to QPR on a deal worth £50,000 per-week, Sam Allardyce is in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Allardyce has had Forster checked before, and we all know the Newcastle stopper would prefer a Premiership club rather than play in the SPL.

Gordon is a free agent after being released by Sunderland and has been linked with Hull since his former Black Cats manager Steve Bruce took charge of the npower Championship club on Friday.

However, the 29-year-old is not in any rush to decide where he will be plying his trade next term.

Craig Gordon: "Things will work themselves out over the next few weeks.

"I've had a few bits and pieces of contact from different clubs but I'll take my time and see what the best offer is over the summer and see where next season takes me. I'm quite relaxed that it will all get sorted out and I can get some first-team football under my belt."
