Peterborough midfielder Dean Keates insisted his goal at St James' Park meant nothing after Newcastle inflicted a 3-1 defeat on Darren Ferguson's struggling side.[LNB]Keates returned to the starting XI as captain against the Magpies and capped his strong performance with a goal.[LNB]But he said: "I was happy to score but it didn't mean anything because we lost the game.[LNB]"We came with a game plan to keep it tight early on and then within the first 20 minutes we were 2-0 down.[LNB]"It left us with a mountain to climb and although our second-half performance was better, it was always going to be difficult."
