Geordie Keystone Cops An Embarrassment?

How many cops does it take to corner a nightclub bouncer running around the countryside on foot? So far gunman Raoul Moat has kept the buggers guessing for FIVE days! Three times Northumberland police have told us they were about to arrest the 37-year-old ... only for him to slip the net. Yes ... it was all in hand ... just needed to slip on the handcuffs ... "ooooops he's got away". Northumberland police couldn't do it by themselves, so they drafted in forces from around the country, and after FIVE days they made an appeal: "We will give a reward of £10,000 to anyone who can help us catch him". They were even tipped off where to find Moat's car - and they cut off Rothbury - only to find out the next day he had been sleeping in a tent 200yds away! Never mind 6 helicopters; a force of 800; 95 cop cars; 953 pairs of handcuffs; and 1,759 truncheons ... let's face it ... a POODLE would have sniffed him out! Then ... when they DO get him ... there will be a £7m investigation why it took so long. Yes we understand this is not football related, but it has been the main topic on the NU Mad Message Board and just about everyone agrees ... these Geordie Keystone Cops are the laughing stock of the country. WHAT A JOKE!!!
