Gazza Back On The Scene
Paul Gascoigne is hoping he can get his life back on track as an after dinner speaker. His former St James' Park team-mate Joe Allon says Gazza is back on track after making an arse of himself one time too many when he was involved in the Moat incident live on TV. During the live showing of a man about to blow his own brains out, Gazza turned up offering a can of beer, a fishing rod and a KFC! However ... Allon says Gazza has now got his shit together. Allon: “Paul has never been better in the last 15 years. “I was with him last week. We spent the afternoon together, we had some lunch. He had a sparkle in his eye and it was fabulous to see him. “We’ve got shows lined up in Glasgow, London and even Dubai…and Paul’s very, very confident that he’s going to stay healthy and stay fit and well. “I tell you what, he’s got a helluva story to tell.” Gazza in a beer-swilling environment? Oh dear!
