... but today the club announced our first pre-season fixture ... a Newcastle XI side will travel over the Tyne to play Gateshead on Wednesday August 1st.
However, the best is yet to come (I'm sure), with the club set to confirm games in Africa and Lisbon.
The Gateshead game has a 7:30 kick-off time.
