Forster Aims High At Celtic

Toon goalkeeper Fraser Forster has set his sights on winning the treble up there in Chilly Jockoland. He is on loan at Celtic. Fraser Forster: “What would cap the season for me? If we win everything we can win, to be honest. “If we keep playing the way we have been of late, and keep building on that and put a run together, we’ll just have to see what happens. “We’ve just got a great team unit, a team spirit. We just turn up each day and work our hardest. We have a team spirit that’s hard to break at the moment. “Obviously defensively we’ve done very well of late and picked up points when we’ve had a few injuries as well. "It was nice to get the performance at Easter Road which has maybe been missing a little bit at times. It was very convincing against Hibs. “I think the loan recall point has passed now so I am focused on being here for the rest of the season. “It would have been very disappointing if I’d had to go back midway through the season. But that’s football and I’m Newcastle’s player at the end of the day. You just have to do what you’re told when it comes down to it. “I haven’t really thought beyond next week if I’m being honest. I’ll speak to the manager at the end of the season and we’ll see what happens. I’m contracted to Newcastle for a few more years.”
