Bradford have confirmed Peter Jackson has been appointed as manager on a permanent basis. Bradford have confirmed Peter Jackson has been appointed as manager on a permanent basis. The 50-year-old has signed one-year deal with the npower League Two side after acting on an interim basis in the second half of the recently-completed season. Jackson played for Newcastle between 1986/88 making 69 appearances, scoring three goals. Tough central defender, Peter was bought by Iam McFaul but immediately sold when McFaul left the club. Came from Bradford City, and returned there in September 1988.
