Ferguson Is NOT After Toon Star!
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson were at Wigan yesterday ... but Sky Sports are well wide of the mark saying they are after Cheick Tiote. Ferguson was there to watch his young talent, Tom Cleverley, who is currently on loan at Wigan and getting rave reviews. The Man Utd boss has to decide if he wants to recall him to Old Trafford during this transfer window. As for Hodgson, we hear he was checking out Steven Taylor. Kevin Nolan (pictured below) praised the display of Tiote, who put in another five star performance yesterday. Nolan: "Tiote only gets better. The way he's taken to the league has been fantastic and he's been one of the buys of the season. "On the field, he's been a man mountain and he's a great signing, a great kid and hopefully he's got a great future with Newcastle."
