FA Won't Take Shearer's Advice

14 April 2012 12:27
Alan Shearer believes the FA are shooting themselves in the foot by not appointing Harry Redknapp as manager ... but they insist they won't ask anyone until just days before Euro 2012 starts!

Redknapp will be in the Wembley dugout as Tottenham manager on Sunday - the home of English football - as his Spurs side face Chelsea in their FA Cup semi-final.

But he says he isn't concerned at all about being offered the England job.

Harry Redknapp: "I never think about it (England).

"Honestly, I swear, I never think about anything other than just Tottenham Hotspur.

"All I think about is trying to finish this season in that top four and get to the FA Cup final.

"Other than that there is nothing else to occupy my mind at all.

"I haven't been offered the job and why should it concern me?"
