Enrique Could Make Wolves Game

Jose Enrique could be back for Newcastle United's crunch home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on April 2. The defender hadn’t been expected to play, but Enrique declared himself fit on the eve of the game. However he lasted just 23 minutes, and was replaced by teenager Shane Ferguson. Alan Pardew: “We don’t think that it’s going to be a serious one, genuinely not. “It’s hard to read with Jose when it comes to injuries. “We genuinely felt he was fine late on Friday, but it was still a late call. “I told the Press what I did on Thursday, because I honestly thought he wouldn’t be playing. I really didn’t think he would, but he was so confident, I went with him. “The good thing is he hasn’t pulled anything, it’s just a tightening. We took him off as precaution.”
