End Of Euro Road For Forster - Hoops Thrashed!

12 February 2013 22:10
Former Toon goalkeeper Fraser Forster can say "goodbye" to Europe as his Celtic side took a 3-0 battering from Juventus.

Ok, he has a trip to Turin to come, but I'm sure Forster will not be looking forward to that.

Alessandro Matri (3 mins), Claudio Marchisio (77), and Mirko Vucinic (83) put the ball past the Hexham-born 'keeper, who looked far from England class.

He put pen to paper in the summer, after a two year loan deal at Celtic, when he waited for a Premiership club to make an offer for him.

West Brom and West Ham were said to be interested 13 months ago, but neither made an offer in the January transfer window or in the summer.

Tipped by Celtic boss Neil Lennon to be "England's number one within two years" ... Forster didn't convert any Joe Hart fans tonight.
