Ebondo Deal More Likely From Rovers Than Toon
This could be a 'blast from the past' but ... Albin Ebondo is back on the agenda of Newcastle ... if you believe the reports. The Magpies made a move for Toulouse's right-back in January 2009 and he was close to sealing a move to the North East. The deal didn't happen, but he is set to depart on a Bosman free transfer in the summer. So whether reporters are digging up old articles and suggesting Newcastle are interested on the strength of it ... I will let you decide. But, it was Sam Allardyce who was interested in the player, not Chris Hughton ... so expect an offer from Blackburn (if anyone),
