Doyle bags Wolves a lifeline

Kevin Doyle grabbed a Barclays Premier League lifeline for Wolves as Terry Connor's relegation-haunted side staged an unlikely comeback to claim a 2-2 draw at Newcastle.

The Magpies were coasting after Papiss Cisse and Jonas Gutierrez fired them into a 2-0 lead with just 18 minutes gone.

But Matt Jarvis reduced the deficit five minutes after the break with a deflected shot and Doyle levelled 16 minutes later to hand the caretaker manager his first point.
