Do We Have World Class Players At St James' Park?

13 March 2013 11:26
Alan Pardew described Yohan Cabaye as "world class" after his free kick flew into Begovic's net on Sunday.

Is he REALLY "world class"?

Pardew claims we have six or seven (Tiote, Ben Arfa, Debuchy, Krul, Coloccini and Cisse) ... and he said that before his glut of Frenchman arrived ... but why do they (apart from Coloccini) never get recognised in PFA teams or by the FA in star player awards?

Come to think of it ... why the hell have we been fighting a relegation battle all season is we have a team of world beaters?

All I can think of (tongue in cheek) is the bugger must be a shit manager!

Alan Pardew: "People get them mixed up sometimes, they talk about the spirit of the side and ‘You must have a fantastic spirit to come back from a goal down’.

"You need world-class players. You need a world-class player to put that in the top corner from that free-kick to give you a foundation to win the game."
