'Disrespectful' Chanting At St James' Park

The Gooners at SJP on Saturday showed quite a bit of venom towards their manager and players. Arsene Wenger received a very hostile reception when he arrived by coach, and Samir Nasri has labelled Arsenal fans as "disrespectful" after chanting against him during the game on Saturday. The France midfielder, 24, has yet to pen a new deal with the Gunners, and so could leave on a free transfer next summer. Nasri has been linked with a £25million move to Manchester City, following the sale of captain Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona. The 24-year-old did not feature in the game because of illness, but was the subject of abuse from some sections of the travelling support, who questioned his loyalty and labelled him greedy. Nasri (on Twitter): "I heard what the fans were singing about me on Saturday and it is really disrespectful because I'm still a (sic) arsenal player."
