Jason Demetriou admitted training would be "buzzing" on Monday following Leyton Orient's emphatic 6-1 pre-season triumph over Newcastle at the weekend. The O's ran riot against the north-east giants but Demetriou, along with manager Geraint Williams, is keeping his feet on the ground with the real action set to get underway in two weeks time. The midfielder told Orient's official website: "It's an unbelievable result. We're not going to get carried away by it but we're absolutely delighted and there are so many positives to take. "Newcastle has millions of pounds worth of players out there, but we went out there, gave as good as we got and came away with a great win - it just shows the quality we have in our squad. "The training ground will be buzzing on Monday. There were a couple of absolutely brilliant goals and it shows that the hard work is paying off. Hopefully we can take that into the start of the season now."
