Come On Pardew - You Know Best Isn't The Future!
Alan Pardew reckons that Leon Best was not rated by the Toon Army ... but if rates him THAT highly himself, why is he lookinging in the transfer market for the "next number nine"? In our NU-Mad poll, 86% of voters said there was nobody at the club worthy of the Toon number 9 shirt ... and obviously that includes Best. Alan Pardew: “When I arrived, I don’t think Leon Best was that highly regarded, and now he’s one of our internationals. “Fair play to him, he’s earned the call with Ireland. “He’s got six goals, and deserves his call. “He’s taken his chance well, and I hope there are more goals to come from him.”
