Coloccini: 'We Know What Promotion Means To Fans'

Fabricio Coloccini put in a master-class performance against Sheffield United on Monday and he says the Toon players know what promotion means to the fans. Fabricio Coloccini: "The fans keep us going with the way they support the team and every player knows what getting back to the Premier League means to the Newcastle supporters. "They really help us, especially in tough games like the one against Nottingham Forest. But not just in tough games, they are there every single game. "The players are a very strong unit, that is why we keep clean-sheets. "We stick together, and that shows. "I was happy for Jose when he scored against Nottingham Forest, because he's a good man and that goal meant a lot to him. "In defence I think Fitz (Hall) has done very well in recent weeks as well as Mike (Williamson). "It's not always easy coming to a new club but those two have been very good. "We have very good full-backs in Danny (Simpson) and Jose Enrique, plus we have Steve Harper, who has been fantastic in goal for us this season."
