Coloccini Wants Armband ... For Good!

Stand-in skipper Fabricio Coloccini showed a great example by 'saving the day' at St James' Park yesterday. Now he wants to keep the armband. Fabricio Coloccini: "I am very happy to score such an important goal. "We don't want to lose home games. "To do so as captain was even better.  "It was like a present for me to be captain. "It's an important role because you're the boss on the pitch, and that's an honour. I have to say thank you not only to the manager but also to my team-mates. "I would like to keep the armband - but I think they need it for the next game so I had to give it back! "We can't really be losing two points here. "We have to win the games at home and we were playing against a team who may be competing with us at the end of the season. "So I am happy with the point and my goal, I would be happier if I had not scored and we had got all three points."
