Clarky Chooses His Words Before Answering Toon Link!
Former Newcastle midfielder Clark has impressed in his first job with League One side Huddersfield Town ... and he has admitted many times: "Yes, I want to manage Newcastle". Deep down we all know he would jump at the chance to manage his boyhood favourites, but he doesn't want to 'shit in his own nest' at Huddersfield. Clark told the media today said he is "fully committed" to Huddersfield Town but refused to answer the question: "Would you take the Newcastle job if it was offered?" Clark: "If there is speculation, it is not of my making. I'm fully committed to my job here." Clarky is a massive fan's favourite at the Toon, where he made more than 250 appearances in two spells at the club. Former Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill, former West Ham and Southampton man Alan Pardew and Clark have been linked with the role today.
