City Can Ease Toon's Relegation Worries Tonight

17 April 2013 16:00
The battle to beat the drop in the Premier League is heating up with just five games to go. But Man City play Wigan tonight, and a City win would be most welcome.

13 Newcastle 3614 Norwich 35 15 Sunderland 34 16 Stoke City 34 17 A Villa 34 18 Wigan  31 19 QPR 24 20 Reading 24

Excluding Newcastle, there are five teams all fighting for survival and just one spot left to fight for.

With Reading and QPR now as good as relegated, the battle to avoid relegation couldn’t be more intense. Norwich City, Stoke City, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic are all in contention. But who will be relegated in May?

But ... if Wigan win tonight, Newcastle will be just two points away from relegation. That match tonight is THAT important.
